Trinidad Scorpion Peppers Crushed
One of the world's hottest peppers, crushed for easy use. The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion measures over 1.2 million Scoville and boasts an impressive fruity flavor before its heavy heat. Not for everyone — but for those who know what they're looking for.
The spice we use
Dried and crushed Trinidad Scorpion peppers in their natural form. Immediately usable without further grinding. The crushed form provides more uniform heat in each portion of food compared to ground powder.
Botanical identity
The Capsicum chinense Moruga Scorpion variety originates from Trinidad and belongs to the Solanaceae family. It earned the title of the world's hottest pepper in 2012 tests, with an average Scoville of approximately 1.2 million SHU. Its name comes from the Moruga region of Trinidad and its scorpion tail-like shape.

Natural appearance
Small deep red-orange crushed pieces. No seeds in the crushed form.
Storage
In a sealed container, away from light, moisture, and heat. Retains its heat and aroma for several months.
