Forest Fruits Green Tea is an aromatic blend based on green tea, with a distinctive fruity profile. In its dry form, the tea leaves stand out alongside pieces of fruit and colorful botanical ingredients, creating a particularly appealing blend both visually and aromatically. In the cup, the vegetal and slightly astringent base of green tea combines with sweet-and-tart notes reminiscent of forest fruits.

Aroma and flavor profile

Its aroma is vibrant, fruity, and pleasantly refreshing, while retaining the character of green tea. The flavor balances the leaves’ vegetal freshness with the sweeter, aromatic notes of the fruit. It is an option for those who want to discover green tea through a more approachable and aromatic profile, as well as for those seeking a drink that is enjoyable both hot and cold.

Preparation

For one cup, use approximately 2–3 g of the blend in 200–250 ml of water. For green tea, use water at around 75–80°C rather than boiling water. Allow it to steep for about 2–3 minutes, then strain. Excessively high temperatures or steeping for too long can make the tea more bitter and astringent. If you would like a more intense fruity aroma, slightly increase the amount of the blend rather than steeping it for much longer.

Iced tea and serving

Forest Fruits Green Tea also works very well as iced tea. Brew it a little stronger, strain it, and let it cool before adding ice. It can be served plain or with a thin slice of lemon. If you prefer a sweeter result, add a small amount of honey or another sweetener while the drink is still hot. For your first taste, try it without additions so you can experience its true aromatic character.

The right amount for your infuser

Since this is a blend of different ingredients, gently stir the contents of the package before measuring out a portion. Smaller or heavier pieces may naturally settle toward the bottom. Use an infuser with enough room for the leaves to unfurl in the water. An infuser that is too small or overfilled restricts water circulation and may result in a less even infusion.

A little Spices Bazaar secret

Let the water cool for a few minutes after boiling before pouring it over the tea. This simple step helps preserve the clean flavor of green tea and reduces the risk of pronounced bitterness. For iced tea, use more tea rather than steeping it for longer, as the ice will dilute the finished drink.

Storage and precautions

Store in a cool, dry, dark place, tightly sealed and away from moisture, heat, and strongly scented products. Green tea naturally contains caffeine. Those limiting their caffeine intake, as well as anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding or taking a specific medication, should adjust their consumption according to their personal needs and the advice of a healthcare professional.
