Cypriot Pyramid Natural Salt
Delicate, airy pyramids from Cypriot salt flats with a pure sea aroma and intense salt flavor. Cypriot salt is internationally known for its high purity and the unique triangular shape of its crystals — a finishing salt that visually and tastefully elevates every serving.
The salt we use
Natural sea salt from Cypriot salt flats in the form of triangular pyramids. The shape is naturally created during the evaporation of water from the sea surface. Unrefined, without additives, iodine or anti-caking agents.
Origin and identity
It comes from the salt flats of Cyprus, mainly from the eastern coast of the island where the sun and wind naturally condense the seawater. Low sodium chloride content compared to other sea salts.
Aroma, color and taste
Clean and marine aroma, slightly metallic. White-transparent color. Intense, clean taste with a slightly sweet finish that slowly dissolves in food. The Greek natural pyramid salt has similar characteristics, if you wish to try the corresponding Greek version.
How to use
Mainly as a finishing salt — the final touch before serving on grilled meats, fish, salads, and vegetables. Perfect for tartare and desserts with chocolate (caramel, brownie). Due to the shape of the pyramids, it dissolves slowly and delivers intense flavor with texture.
Combinations
Perfect with grilled meats and tuna, fish tartare and carpaccio. With olive oil and lemon on grilled vegetables, it enhances the Mediterranean flavor.
Natural appearance
Delicate triangular pyramids of white-transparent color, fragile and airy. Larger crystalline structure than Greek pyramid salt, with a more impressive visual presentation.
Storage
In an airtight container, away from moisture. Avoid moisture that dissolves the pyramids and changes their color.
Precautions
Contains sodium chloride. People with high blood pressure or heart problems should be careful with consumption.
