Greek natural pyramid salt
Fine, airy salt pyramids with a characteristic triangular shape, a pure sea aroma, and an intense salty taste. Natural salt from Greek sea salt flats, excellent for finishing – the final touch before serving that elevates the dish to another level.
The salt we use
Natural sea salt from Greek salt flats in the form of pyramids. The characteristic triangular shape is created during the evaporation of water from the sea surface and is completely natural in clean sea salt flats with low pollution.
Origin and Identity
It comes from Greek sea salt flats, mainly in the wider region of the Peloponnese and the Aegean. Unprocessed, without additives, without iodine or anti-caking agents. Low sodium chloride content compared to other salts.
Aroma, color, and taste
Clean, marine, slightly metallic aroma. White-transparent color. Intense, clean taste, with a slightly sweet finish that slowly dissolves in the food.
How it is used
Primarily as a finishing salt – the final touch before serving on grilled meats, fish, salads, and vegetables. Perfect for tartare and chocolate desserts (caramel, brownie, chocolate bar). Due to the pyramid shape, it dissolves slowly and provides an intense salty taste with texture. Not suitable for cooking within the food due to the porous structure of the crystals.
Combinations
Perfect on grilled butter, fish tartare, avocado juice, and carpaccio, it gives a perfect flavor. With olive oil, lemon, and herbs on grilled vegetables, it enhances the Greek taste.
Natural appearance
Fine, triangular pyramids of white-transparent color, fragile and airy. The size of the pyramids gives visual presence and texture to the dish.
Storage
In an airtight container, away from moisture. Due to the delicate texture of the pyramids, avoid moisture and compression that destroys their shape.
Precautions
Contains sodium chloride. People with high blood pressure or heart problems should be careful about consumption.
