Weight

Salt from one of the most famous lakes in the world, in fine granular form for daily use. The Dead Sea is located 460 meters below sea level and is significantly saltier than normal seawater — its salt is impressively concentrated and different in taste from regular salt.

The salt we use

Natural salt in fine granular form, unrefined from the waters of the Dead Sea. It naturally contains magnesium, potassium, and other trace elements in higher concentration than sea salt. Unprocessed, without additives.

Origin and identity

The Dead Sea is located on the borders of Jordan, Israel, and Palestine. With a salinity approximately 10 times greater than the Mediterranean, the water evaporates with an exceptionally high concentration of salt.

Aroma, color, and taste

Clean aroma with slight mineral notes. White-transparent color. Intense, deeply salty taste with slight metallic notes — more intense than regular sea salt.

How it's used

Ideal as a daily cooking salt for those who want to reduce sodium intake — due to its higher salinity, a smaller quantity is needed. Elevates salads, roasted vegetables, and dips. If you love exotic salts, also check out Bordeaux pyramid salt for an impressive alternative.

Combinations

Ideal for those following a low-sodium diet. With olive oil and herbs on roasted meats, it gives an impressively flavorful note. With cheese and olive oil in a salad.

Natural appearance

Fine, granular texture, white-transparent color. Dissolves easily and imparts flavor smoothly to food.

Storage

In an airtight container, away from moisture. Keeps for years.

Precautions

Contains sodium chloride. Due to its higher sodium content, use a smaller amount than regular salt. Individuals with high blood pressure or heart problems should consult a doctor.
